About Me

Hi! I'm Natalie, a young, Type-A, South Florida mama to a beautiful baby girl. In true Type-A fashion, I am a very meticulous and ambitious person, some would call me a "perfectionist". As such, I always try to give my all in everything I do. I'm no Supergirl and there are days when I am tired and put things off or procrastinate a task, but for the most part, I try to abide by this philosophy in all aspects of my life. Motherhood is definitely helping me to pull in the reins on my Type-A behavior and let out the Type-B in me every so often.

Here are a few of my favorite things:

1. My daughter, Allison
Nothing makes my heart happy and puts me at ease like seeing my baby girl. I especially love when I make her smile or laugh.

2. Planners
Who can keep it all in their heads?! I know I can't. Planners help me relieve some of the stress of remembering everything by giving me a place to write it all down. Plus, there's nothing like being able to check off or scratch off a task that has been completed. (cue sigh of relief)

3. Lists/ Note-Taking
Can't you tell? I love all kinds of lists, bulleted lists, numbered lists, etc. My life changed when I learned how to make an outline in 6th grade grammar class. Thank you Mrs. Gonzalez.

4. Traveling
I'm fortunate to have been able to travel around to a few places in and out of the U.S. so far, but I have definitely been bitten by the travel bug and can't wait to explore some more. In the meantime, I'm crossing my fingers for the Travel Channel to create another show like Samantha Brown's so I can travel vicariously through someone's adventures.

5. Books
I currently don't have much free time to read, but I have always and will always love books. I have a special fondness for children's books. When I can find time to sneak in some reading, you will probably find me engulfed in the pages of a murder/mystery, historical fiction, or realistic fiction novel.

6. TV
TV is definitely one of my guilty pleasures. I am obsessed with way too many shows and have my DVR way too full, but a girl's got to relax somehow. When my daughter is asleep, my husband and I often binge watch our favorite shows. This is definitely a time when the Type-B in me comes out.

Thank you for stopping by to read a little bit more about me. I hope you come back regularly to follow my journey throughout motherhood.
